WHY I’M RUNNING
My goal is to bring my knowledge and experience to the table to help maintain superior, traditional education in our public school system. I believe that it is important to grasp the core principles of education, maintain positive teacher-student and teacher-parent culture, promote transparency with integrity, and carry on financial stewardship with exceptional management.
My passion for education stems from my own experiences as a student in the public school system, where the influence of my teachers, coaches, counselors, and administrators enabled me to change the collegiate legacy of my family and become a teacher myself. I have been teaching at Boerne Middle School North and substituting on various campuses within BISD for many years. I have also served two PTO presidential terms, currently serving one at Boerne High School, and I have lived, worked, served, and loved Boerne for over 20 years.
My husband and I have three children currently attending Boerne Middle School North and Boerne High School, who have all attended Curington Elementary.
